I, Preface

Due to the existence of water-soluble alkali metal ions in water glass, water-soluble alkaline substances remain after curing, resulting in slow curing speed, poor water resistance, easy to regain moisture, and not suitable for wet environment. Therefore, water glass based materials must be added with certain curing agent to improve their water resistance and curing performance. Common water glass curing agents include metal oxides, inorganic acids, fluorosilicates, etc. However, there are still many imperfections in the use of these curing agents. Therefore, based on the original curing agent, a new type, liquid type, stable, efficient and convenient curing agent for water glass - SV series curing agent was developed.
